I haven't read far along in the book, but I have to say, the description and beginning of the book really shows how women in general who are hurt turn into independent and straightforward individuals. It shows me that we as women should not be messed with. I don't normally read books with this type of scenario, but I do like to see a strong both in mind and heart woman taking the lead in her life.
