I really enjoyed the novel, but after around chapter 60, it seems to have lost any sense of direction. There's no end goal. I have no idea where the novel is going, and not in a good way. It feels very uncomfortable to read a novel where the MC has no goal in mind for so long. I read up to chapter 120 at this point and it felt like a chore most of the time. And keep in mind that these are all long chapters so it feels a lot longer than the average 60 chapters in Webnovel. It's hard to explain the feeling of uncertainty that permeates the story. With no advancement of the story for so long and so much educational material crammed in, I can't continue reading. It's just not enjoyable anymore and I can't keep pretending it's not. Too much to read, not nearly enough progress in the story or characters. Such a disappointment too. It had so much potential

Thank you so much for the review, it really means a lot to me. It helps me improve as a writer, which in turns helps me output better work. On that note, it is sad to see you leave. I appreciate that you still pointed out the reason for why my work didn't appeal to you. Unless I know why people didn't like this novel, I can never really address the problem. BUT, I do want to say that I started writing this as a slice-of-life (which is its primary genre). Webnovel rearranges the tags I assign automatically so Adventure, Action and Romance usually overtake Slice-of-Life on the tag lists. And slice-of-life generally have this feeling of floating in the wind without an aim. HOWEVER, your critique is valid. Although I cannot change much in the first volume. I will keep this in mind in the future for both this work and any possible works down the line. *** SPOILERS *** This story is supposed to be a slow crawl. The main character's aim in the first volume is made to mirror the development of a generic novel with a similar plotline. However, after the tournament and its outcome, he enters a limbo state of not knowing what to do. Thus in volume 2, it ends with him finding a new aim after he realises some facts about himself from his past life. So he is once again Starting Anew. *** SPOILERS ***

He does, but not in the orthodox sense (not a Teacher affiliated with the co-operative of Teachers).
