I hate doing reviews and writing these are a pain. There are only three (now four) authors I am willing to write one for. The story has amazing development and some parts that are really funny. The progression is not slow nor fast you actually feel like you are growing alongside the character. Along with that fact the character is not over powered at all in the beginning, he has the abilities but there useless unless he actually trains and becomes adept. I never experienced such an amazing story with a very well rounded plot. Over all I would recommend this book to all. I have a lot of respect and love for this book and can not wait for it to really bloom and I hope any who read this comment will join me in this amazing journey.

Oh wow, I binge read super fast so was trying to gauge how many chapters I had between me and the duel, but if the duel still hasnât even happened yet then the pacing must be a lot slower than I expected. Thanks for letting me know. I donât mind slower pacing in completed books (like you find on Amazon), but slow pacing in Webnovel books make me nervous because so many authors stop writing for whatever reasons, and the readers get left hanging. So while I like the additional detail and opportunity for more romantic development and character building I worry that the author may get burnt out before theyâve finished the story. So I was really hoping that by 500-ish chapters theyâd have at least made it past the duel, since the MC still has so much other stuff to accomplish. So please pace yourself so that you donât get burned out or stop writing this story author-sama, pretty please? đ„șđ. Itâs a great story and it would really stink to not be able to follow the MC with his harem of wives and living a happy life until the end, lol. So please keep up the great work author, and donât forget pacing is important! And thank you DreadDrop, for answering my question even if it was âbad newsâ.

I don't really consider it bad news since I really enjoy this webnovel and it's the only thing I've read this long (longest before this was 50 chapters since I have commitment issues đ) although the plot is slow paced It's enjoyable if you like getting on your toes and constantly Wondering what's going to happen next, I would cry if the author suddenly stops updating chapters

i have read only cultivation online. i have to read other 2 now. also, i would recommend reading the villain wants to live made by the same author who wrote the novel's extra (i think this novel invented or at least popularised the trope of author transmigrated into his own novel) grasping evil is also good. and devil's son-in-law has pretty smart mc (only con is the big harem)
