of course it was to lengthen the story. Similar to how many authors add fillers and jokes to slow down the pace of the story and add more chapters. They want cash $$

was hoping for character development which tbf he gets some of. Story also had a lot of development arcs. Problem is, the story says that hes changed or w/e like in one of the training arcs but he reverts back to 8th grader syndrome 5 chapters later.
