The revenge was a bit drawn out, but after reading one chapter I moved to the next, so it honestly didn't feel like a long time. my favorite was when she said her farewell to her mother. Maybe it was the way I read it but the way she said "This time, I'll be the one to leave you" made me feel so much satisfaction. When I started clapping my family thought I was watching an inspirational speech lolll. The story development was good and the reason for the fl doing certain things didn't leave me confused because the author actually takes us into her mind, which made her choices and attitude more understandable and realistic.

I didn't mention it because honestly, when reading the story I consciously focussed on the fl revenge scheme, but Lu Huaiyu, the ml is controlling and possessive, but the impact it has on the fl depends on her because he helped her so much she believed she owed him her life and with her previous lifetime memories the debts she owed grew and knowing that he was on her side made grow more attached to him. There is some big secret he is keeping from fl that is related to her, but apart from him treating her like a child in the beginning and giving me the feeling that he was grooming her I think he is one of the better (not best, but not exactly bad) male leads that I've read so far.
