Look you have to stop changing the Chinese names and setting to American. It is ruining our experience of reading this very interesting novel. People aren’t idiots, changing part of the novel to hide the nationalism that is present in all Chinese novels is stupid. I don’t care about the nationalism if it isn’t some braindead propaganda, if there is a proper and realistic reason that is logically sound I don’t care whether a writer sings praises about a CERTAIN country.

They didn't just change the nationalism plot in this, they changed the entire thing, the whole point of this novel was for the super nationalistic MC to use his system to defeat the Evil Americans and win pride for his country. Like the sheer blatant racism and nationalism in the original RAW is disgusting.
