the only reason I picked this book up is because I saw that the magic language in this book was English instead of the cliche Chinese stuff. so let me explain what happens after the MC goes to magic academy after a few chapters. before he reaches the academy:- 1)the power system used in the world is runes. 2)the stronger the runes you have, the stronger you are. 3)rune masters is the occupation. 4)the system the MC has is a translation/retrieval system which can retrieve memories of dead people. it can translate the runes. after MC reaches the academy:- 1)the MC starts beast taming. 2)the power system suddenly becomes beast taming. 3)system miraculously becomes a beast taming system that gives missions, upgrades his pets, etc. no more runes. none at all. only beast taming. 4)no more runeasters. only beast masters. the author must have been out of his mind when he was writing this novel. or maybe he was too high to even notice all this.

and his pet gets the ability to capture memories of enemies. and he is happy. he says he can finally read memories. when his system was already doing that in the first few chapters.

I kept reading this book up to the latest chapters hoping to see if there was any runes mentioned in it. but nooo... and it just irks me. so I am here commenting about what this book is really like.

the title kinda feels like clickbait. for people like me who is fed up with the usual cliche Chinese stuff and looking for something different.

The thing is, i am sure original novel, if it exists, says Shock, spell is in chinese! lool but the problem is I can't even find the chinese webnovel raw version to see if webnovel is doing w.e they want with the novel or is it actually the author. I have seen webnovels like Animal Assassin Group or something where webnovel has completely changed the plot and character name and location. I have a pretty strong feeling that's what has happened to this novel.
