Buddy, after reading the first two chapters of this fan fiction, there is only one thing I want to say. Thank you. Finally a character who is not overpowered and doesn't start practicing the goddamn unforgivables by the age of 11 and actually experiences difficulty in harnessing his accidental magic. Just like you I am an avid reader of the Harry Potter fabrications and have read close to 800 of them. Out of all of them, I only managed to find less than 10 which explored the journey of learning magic realistically. So the fact that you are doing just that and addressing issues that other fanfics don't usually deal I'm like guilt, is a huge win in my opinion. Your grammar is near perfect and the conversations font seem forced, so I am sticking with this. Hope you don't hit a writer's block on this book as well, cause I like your other fabric and have still not given up on it.

I personally didn't enjoy it like the others and had to soldier through some chapters cause I got bored in the middle, but the overall theme is pretty good and there is no denying that it is extremely well written.

I just can't stand the tone of the entire thing. I find it so cringeworthy that I'm having trouble just getting through a chapter at a time. I know many people have favorited it but most who read more fanfiction agree that it's not a fun read. In actuality I have a problem with most who try to handle magic in a "Scientific way" as they take it way too far. It becomes very cringe quickly and the fun and fantasy disappears.

Is he talented or strong? (Realistically so by real hp standards not FF standards). I understand your dislike for most fanfics as the power ups make no sense or just straight up go against the OG storys laws and rules, but I also cant stand it when FF become realistic to the point of making the making the mc weak and basically useless. I read fanfics as a way of imagining myself as the mc into a story I fantasized and wish myself in, I most certainly would want to be a least talented and capable in such circumstances yaknow?
