You prolly should try worlds apocalypse online, its has a system but its not making mc any stronger, its the opposite the system is making things hard for mc. The mc in this story is very smart, everyone is soooo overpowered so he has to get himself out using his brain, and he is always pulling it out somehow, still it makes sense so there is no plot armor. The story isnt mainly about the system part so everyone should give it a try, its one of the best i've ever read.
