when you read upto 200 ch, you will see... the comedy is just a cover up of how fcked up the world is, tho I forgot what I read in the first few chapters, but It wasn't that bad... and also, there's many kinds of comedy, if others like masochistic comedy, dark comedy, prank comedy, etc. it's their definition of comedy, not yours.

also he harmed himself because he's not like other mc that only thinks for himself, the mc knew that atleast his teacher is trying his best for him, the intentions were good, but the teacher doesn't know that whenever he cultivates, he lost qi. The MC isn't as ruthless as other MC, I guess that's what you wanted? not sure. Also if you mean harming himself by literally harming himself which will be converted into strength, then you're just being stupid.

No hate but I really wanted to see if people will read this a not mediocre but not that amazing novel, it's good but not that great compared to some novels out there but It certainly is a good read, tho if you find the comedic attempt to be bad, then I understand..
