I would suggest webnovel to revert the name to original eng name. This name sounds bad. Also concerning the fact about the previous translator. They were doing it illegally.

So what at least now the author will get money, if it's selected but now cause of b,utt-hurt fans who don't want to support authors gave it bad reviews it's not going to get much traffic.

I get what you are saying, but my main concern is that Webnovel will go and start translating the novel and then drop it.... I honestly loved Webnovel at the beginning, but nowadays they start translating a work and then they drop it out of nowhere (or worse, you see a clearly drop of quality in translation, becoming as bad as MTL). For me, at least fan translations possess the integrity to stick with their work through thick and thin.

fan translators drops translations all the time. The reason I say to always support official is cause I read raws and the author of every novel(unless it's very popular) asks for donations and recommendations once a week. Most of the time they have day job and write the chapter during lunch break, night. They always encourage their reader to read official Chinese version and if they were to set foot notes on official English version I am sure they would tell every one to support the official version here also.
