I really enjoyed the first volume, there is no reincarnation or past self memories to hinder the flow of the novel. The system is simple and only a tool for story telling not the main focus which I very much appreciate. The skills are hard to come by so that gives an opportunity for the author to come up with few unique skills rather then 100 of generic ones, No info-dumping And there is already hints of a bigger story The only downside is the fact that chosen don't die which I hope the author would fix when the story moves to Earth since he hasn’t establish that yet.
