The Good: The world the author has constructed is excellent! The MC is at least well thought out and it is nice to see a family for once that is more than just an afterthought. The Bad: Why do you include a thank you chapter, it breaks immersion even more than the end of a chapter. The point of view changes every now and then from 3rd person omniscient to first person and back for no apparent reason, probably not intentional. The Neutral: I had a hard time following this for some reason. Overall though, I can't say much about it that is done poorly. My best advice I can think of would be to keep at it and you will improve across all aspects!
