Review detail

Basically the title of the novel itself, as well as the second Male Lead, and the Female Lead becomes pointless After 300+ once she gets raped in fall in love with the original ML. Not only does he have an affair in the beginning, and rapes her in her sleep, but he gets no punishment and have a kid with her. While the Female Lead somehow loses all the brain cells she has and fall in love with someone She once thought Was annoying. The second ML who is the Main ML becomes a background round Simp, and only gets her in the end after the original ML dies saving The FL😭😭 the character Development is horrible

*Author please notice me umu* What a mood. I actually stopped reading when I sensed that Charlton and Serena were about to break up. I planned to read after some time so I don't have to wait for updates in the break up period. I returned and now I see this. From the very start that I took a glimpse of this novel I already shipped Charlton and Serena. Meaning, that's what I came here for, Even the synopsis seemed to imply the ML being Charlton, but in the end? I am already feeling the angst and I haven't even read the whole novel yet and I am already feeling hurt just knowing how Charlton and Serena's relationship turned out. I don't want to feel this much angst anymore. I've already learned from a different novel in WN called "The Genius' First Love", that novel was just (ofmg)... So yea, I don't think I am going to continue reading this novel, sorry author-san... Here goes my opinion on the spoilers... I recommend to author-san: Since this is the development the author wanted (according to the spoiler), author-san should've just started the book from Geoffrey's death. If so, maybe it would have lesser drama and angst-feels for the readers... The development could be like this: The period where she had a relationship with Charlton would be a hidden past; the time when Geoffrey forced himself on her would also be a hidden past, These would then be memories to be slowly uncovered to the readers as the story progresses. With this, the readers are spared from angst, especially readers that support the Charlton and Serena's ship. Or so this is my opinion being one of the people that ships them T-T <///3 P.S. I honestly wish for there to be a tag or warning for novels with such development. Do you guys know how it feels when the you're "trying to read" until the end—no matter how much angst the novel has—only because you have that one tread of hope on your imagination, only for it to be crushed... I don't see it as a "mysterious" plotline with a an unknown and a very "unexpected twist", I see such stories as harsh-cold plot development </3

Hallo, thank you for the suggestion. When I started writing I knew that Geoffrey would do something drastic but i was not decided on what he would do, he was madly in love with her and to do nothing was just lame. initially i thought of charlton beating geoffrey as is but that was just weird too. He was the original male lead and the crown prince. he wont just lose easily. So the only way for him to do so was if Serena affects him in a way. Meanwhile the reason serena gets to beat emily the orig fl was because she was a transmigrator. I think the plot twist and geoffrey in the picture was beautifully done. It makes a lot of sense. Anyhow, hope you will read this one someday.
