Read up to volume 1 so this will only be discussing the novel up to that point. As the author said this is his first novel, and... well it shows. But before starting with negatives I'll say the good things, because they do exist. PROS: - Well developed world. It is very clear that the author put a lot of attention and detail to the world building and even had myriad of ideas of how to execute them. Though it is going in the path of a frog in a well inside a well, inside a well, etc., the author does a good job in not overcomplicating it. -He has a pretty cool power system and my only complaint is that he could have used it more as he doesn't explore it directly through the main character that much and only reference them in info dumps through "How to cultivate for idiots" books. The MC has a different way of powering up so it is logically consistent but sometimes I'd rather not read things that the MC won't even have to deal with. -He has some good comedy, I found them funny at least. They are mostly 4th wall breaking (such as having an elder reading a book and telling the MC to wait so he can finish the arc), so I can find it if people found it immersion breaking, but from what I could see from the paragraph comments people had a good laugh. Now for the CONS: -really small but I can see it annoy certain people; he has some grammar mistakes along the way but he does get better and I think he starts using Grammarly after a while. -Biggest flaw is his character design and development. MC is a Mary Sue (Gary Stu, whatever), but I know that it isn't a bad thing or a problem to have one. I bet that 90% of people have seen media that they enjoy or tolerate such characters. The Problem stems from every other character lacking any form of development that they fit into basic archetypes and not have any personality of their own. When they interact with the MC it becomes predictable and sometimes too fast pace. -The romance lacks maturity. That being said, it can either be placed on the author being young or being inexperienced, which is fine but results in some fanfiction level cringe. I am willing to let it go on that only but it is still hard to read. This is also a result of the Con above, female lead lacks anything interesting for the reader to accept, since they experience things through the MC. For those who read Coiling Dragon, she gave me a vibe that Alice, from the early arcs, emitted, but is loyal and stays with our protagonist. In the end I see this as a laughable Romeo and Juliet romance(btw I see R&J as a comedy not a tragedy, I hated the play) -Last but not least, Though I said the power system was good and well developed, the author was definitely doing a young author's mistake of wanting to get to the "good stuff" quickly, so the MC speed runs through a lot of stages that I think them existing in the first place is kind of pointless. They aren't even seriously explored through other characters, but only their stage is mentioned and the MC goes all One Blast man on them. Conclusion: The author is young(as in he is just started his writing journey, idk how old he is), and needs more time to develop. He has good ideas but poor execution. I am not going to read volume two, but maybe things get better from that point onwards. If you have no problems with any of the cons I put out then go ham and read this and support the author.

Thanks. you are spot on with your review but i am sad since you r not going to read the second volume as I wanted people to read my book free as long as it was possible...which is the reason chaps are not locked until chapter 103. ( maybe I shouldn't have parted them into volumes lol )
