Felt the same way. It started going downhill when the author started having people start wanting to become a Chinese citizen like, I can deal with it but when it draws on and on. I just couldn't deal with it. I don't care that China got the upper hand or something but at least keep the main character as a neutral party. x.x

Dude I could still handle that part. But the interaction when japan asked for help is what did it for me. The nationalism turned the politics into a joke. China behaves like a childish al powerful bully who even while threatened with complete distruction of the world would rather see the japanese die. Unrealistic. They go on and on in the early chapters how important population is as it gives them more experts. But when it comes to Korea and Japan this suddenly doesn't matter anymore? Absolutely ridiculous.
