Decent novel until it dropped the part where he's supposed to be trying to live a peaceful life. He lays low and keeps his powers a secret in the beginning, but then he just stops doing that because I guess he doesn't feel like having a peaceful life anymore? Like not much seems to change except a lot of cliche things start happening and then more and more people know about his abilities. Many could have been avoided, but he chose not to. Dropped because of this

Oh, I'm very happy to hear that. I was about to drop it due to his spineless personality. He wants to live a peaceful life. The way to do that is to make sure nobody dares to mess with him. If he pretends to be a weak pushover, then everyone will mess with him. It's human nature to bully the weak and fear the strong. If you think pretending to be weak will let you live a peaceful life, you are dumb beyond belief.
