Author here. A few important things to be noted before reading the novel. 1) MC is OP character with a strong background but it's just a hidden one. 2) MC is a grey character but slightly lean towards Evil. 3) No Harem. Only one girl from the start 4) In a standard team of friends, usually, there's a ever bright lead character with a hidden story, a strong headed female lead, an arrogant young miss, a genius, yet an idiot with no background, a couple of others who don't have any impact on the story, and finally there will be a popular character who always look cold and have this dark atmosphere. MC is this kind of character. You can say, he is somewhere in the middle between an Alpha and a Beta. 5) The update stability is usually 7ch/wk but it might change at anytime... 6) Any questions, please do ask here. well, for starters, it doesn't suit his character to get himself beaten by others. He isn't weak. And secondly, rather than male or female, his behavior will change whether they are friends, enemies, or strangers... So, he might spare even it's a male. Or he might ruthlessly kill even if it's female...

I'm not entirely sure about Barbara, but Claire had obvious feelings for the MC (even if she's from past timeline, nothing is impossible in a fantasy novel). Which is why I suspect that at least one of the two will start with the MC

oh, yeah... that was before the time skip... It was mentioned how her sister already tracked the suspects... Didn't explain it full chapter as it wa unimportant in the story. the important part is that how Iphi fell into trouble and got kidnapped thereby angering her sister. the consequences are important, which will be shown in the future chapters

idk why but the fact there's a clan that the whole purpose is to kill to "balance" life and death is putting me off. I mean, I don't understand why would they have to kill people themselves to balance anything? shouldn't a reaper be like someone who reaped souls from people who already died? They'd look more logical if they just killed for power and had death affinities or the like. Of course, I say this full of assumptions. You'd probably make it be "perfectly logical" within your story... right? Does this have any explanation in the story? does it take too long to appear?
