Review Detail of LJTOO in The King Alpha’s Mate

Positive: I really liked the characters. They are developed quickly, one twice. You are not guessing their motives. The world building also leaves no questions. Negative: (spoilers) I was really disappointed with how jack went from being a dominant alpha to a whipped lover. Carmela also after being changed lost that fire that made her character interesting. Because of their “love” the dialogue got repetitive. It is also built up that Jack had these past lovers but also they keep mentioning it with a character actively there, Carmela never learns and grows from it. The ending is the most disappointing to me. It’s rushed and primarily focuses on the princess. They throw in there a clip about her pregnancy and relation to whether or not she gets pregnant, he will get a mistress. But its not addressed. No confirmation of love just the what if. Just over all disappointed. Also the editing could use some work. It’s not horrible but it sometimes throws you out of the book.
