i read a few chap but the thing that puts me off is that this story is a harem it's not I don't like harem, I. . his back story in the first chap says his father cheated on her mother so him being a so called cold, uncaring about relationship and all have reasons but then harem for someone who. . . . haah i don't care just read it, if it's good story for you then continue but if then don't, all I'm saying here is the story will be more appealing if he found just one girl and fall in love and all so yeah.

I don't understand what you're upset about? Its a good story and the mc has a strong background. And you saying that if he just found one girl and fall in love, then it'll just be a one dimensional story about the two of them. As it stands now, I do think that the author is still pretty weak on some areas especially grammar, but still, its better than a single girl who's just there to make him happy. But here, he basically has a hate for everyone, so that the author can focus on every single one separately.

that's my opinion on the story I'm not saying don't read this story it has harem i clearly say im okay with harem but the this is not my cup of tea, and how can a man falling in love with only one woman be one dimensional? having more than one in a modern world is more to unreal even tho we have country that has polygamy. tho I'm gonna ask why do you think a man falling in love is one dimensional.

The reason why making it just one girl to be one dimensional is because its going to be boring. She's just going to be there to make him happy, wherein these multiple people, they all have their own goals, approach and so much more different things. But if its just one girl he meets, then its going to be a hundred chapters of back and forth of "I love you, you don't need to worry about anything anymore." Its just going to be that stretched out in a hundred chapters. Its not going to create depth. In some other books I've read like The Notebook, Fault in Our Stars, the plot is not so "predestined" like this book. In The Fault in Our Stars, the one man one girl works because the story revolved around them. Here, the story revolves around Theodore and his socialization on the environment. Its a character development story for Theodore, as its not a story for Theodore's romance. But his journey to overcome his trauma of the past. So adding a one girl one man romance will prevent Theodore's growth because he will just be stuck dealing with ONE personality. But with multiple people, he has this like tsundere (?) not sure, shy girl, assertive girl, royalty girl and much more. I honestly hate romance myself too because of the garbage Nisekoi and Gotoubun was, but this thing was a nice change of pace. You honestly don't know who will end up as the final girl. And that's what makes this book good.

you have good a point and so on i don't really like arguing for the sake what's good for this and bad for that, but well let's live at that cuz all I'm saying is if you like a harem read it and if you don't like harem atleast try and still read it cuz not all harem are trash I'm just warning some people i didn't even put a bad ratings see, so yeah.

in a rl situation the characterization of these girls is superficial I suppose, the emotions of a human are far too complex to be sterotyped in such a manner, if the story is written in a approach that focuses on realism just one girl will be enough because there are nigh-infinite sides to emotion, there will be arguements and there will be confrontations and such, making a bazillion different girls is far more one dimensional as each girl only has one personality type that runs on a set cliche. if a romantic character is written appropriately then that character can fulfill all sides of that romance without it ever seeming boring, you can add breakups and such to increase realism. multiple people loving one person with all their hearts is unrealistic to the extreme as can easily be seen by the prologue just add one more to a functional relationship and it can all break down, and to develop character one can use friends.
