reading the sypnosis and thinking this fanfic will be unique is really a great mistake, yes he start in red line that's new but in the end he still takes the most generic route of all one piece fanfic the east blue so nothing new

tbh. If I didn't go to the 'Sea Route' and focus instead what's inside the Red Line, it doesn't called as Fan-fic anymore but an alter-reality, right?

Fan fiction or fanfiction (also abbreviated to fan fic, fanfic, fic or ff) is fictional writing written by fans, commonly of an existing work of fiction. The author uses copyrighted characters, settings, or other intellectual properties from the original creator(s) as a basis for their writing. Fan fiction ranges from a couple of sentences to an entire novel, and fans can both keep the creator's characters and settings and/or add their own. It is a form of fan labor. Fan fiction can be based on any fictional (and sometimes non-fictional) subject. Common bases for fan fiction include novels, movies, bands, and video games. fanfiction does not mean you need to follow the canon route to be called a fanfiction, and tbh if you just follow canon it will just be called canon rehash since you're just editing it a little and you're done pretty much nothing new aside from what you edit, just like copying someone else homework and just changing the name to make it look different
