Eh, yeah, the MC says overly "quirky" things that kind of come of as annoying if you're not smooth-brain, and the system is wrong, but that may be a writing standpoint. Imagine you're playing a game and you have a quest to kill 10 boars and from those boars, you got 7 boar hides, but when you submit the quest it says the reward was the 7 boar hides.
