What to say about this novel? It's 300 chapters for one, so you'll have hours of reading. As for the actual content, it's somewhat generic in that it is an athlete do-over reincarnation, but even then, that's a genre lacking on webnovel. The thing that sets this apart is the well-grounded system and well thought out progression of the Mc. It's rewarding, and it feels like his effort is being rewarded instead of the MC being gifted everything on a plate. His character is okay, it's a little flat and uninteresting, but with the cycle of these kinds of stories, that's kinda expected. The focus isn't on character development; it's on the Mc's pursuits in the footballing world and his development as a player. Of course, that isn't the only aspect. The author has also thought about other elements beyond the riveting action of the games and tries to show the different aspects that affect athletes. But at the moment, that isn't the focus, and neither should it be. The story can sometimes drag when unimportant games go on for too long. Or when miscellaneous descriptions of training that have been written and rewritten hundreds of times fill most chapters. And that is undoubtedly jarring, as I feel it just drags the pace and the author has issues prioritising what he should show or how much time to allocate less Important scenes. But the highs, for me, validate trudging through the lows. I'm a football fan as it is, so maybe this won't be for everyone. But the author's passion towards the story and effort are faultless-though his upload rate leaves much to be desired. I also feel there could be more expanding of the footballing world. Everything revolves around the Mc, and we don't get to see anybodies reaction to the MC besides the commentators, or his close friends, during the match. It might be nice to see pro-players seeing Zachary's highlights and commentating on it or something. But this is the author's decision, and it is what it is. But overall, I'd recommend the novel for others to read. And they should give it a chance, though it might not be everybody's cup of tea.
