Idk, I like the idea of the book. However, I just find it really annoying that random ass people just come up to his place and take stuff etc etc. Like idk it's like these people do nothing and just take things from his place... I just find this so fcking annoying. For me, the mc HAS to have some self-respect about himself. There is being kind and then there is grovelling to others, letting them walk all over you etc. This is what the mc is in this book and it is something I cannot stand reading about. Like I don't mind that people come to his place, maybe get to look at stuff etc but to actively take things without even doing anything? That's over the line, there's a difference to looking around admiring compared to taking things. It's like inviting someone to your house and them just taking things from it... Nah, can't stand that. the mc also has to have certain self-respect, some confidence about that he lacks. Hope this makes sense? Just something I want to read about when reading so yeah. My prefrence rly

But, until chapter 40 from what I saw, these "people" already helped the MC a lot, not that he needed it, but in the MC's opinion, those things he gave were nothing, but for other people it is a very valuable treasure , that was what I could understand, in short this is my opinion, and I really liked how this novel is going, I hope it will be chosen, but I highly doubt it, this type of novel seems to be discarded next week.
Mc is OP but he didn't realize it. And he is humble as much as possible because he thought he is a normal mortal without spiritual root. So his long term plan is to hug thigh. But as you can read here, he IS the real big shot with even trash could makes people breakthrough like eating... It's funny and lots of dry humor, not something serious like most xianxia.

So far no one has ever been rude to him to the point of insulting him since they would immediately notice something is wrong. Webnovel certainly have many sh1tty novels but definitely not this one. First of all, the MC gave the items to the cultivators. Secondly, the items the MC gave had low value, like me living in a random forest and giving my visitors a twig or something. He didn't know it was valuable or not. Lastly, the cultivators treat the MC with respect; but the MC has the same attitude since he's just an 'ordinary person'. Actually, there's quite the big plot hole in that he doesn't really show the same level of respect the cultivators show him. You can see it from his speech and tone I guess.
na ive read till 202 and its repeated again and again that mc thinks that the immortals and cultivators are very friendly its just the mcs misconception since the cultivators actively try to please him and fulfill his requests
