I like your first books a lot, but I thought this is was about his son Alex not Kyle. Especially the part where they act so mature. Just that I see Kyle maybe too much in Alex's story. Even if he is the father.

While Alex is still young, Kyle will play a big role as need to lay out the ground work. Plus, showing other character's development as well; but finding that balance is a bit tricky. Alex will be showcased more / gets more screentime once he reaches secondary school. Thanks for your input. 😊
