not great, it's a blur in the earlier years. he goes on an adventure seemingly from ten to twenty where he goes to a few places to learn some stuff. really not comparing well to the real batman. a lot of skills that batman apparently learned, were not learned by this guy. simply the martial arts stuff. bad writing. the way that he tries to avenge his parents' death, who he goes after, how he handles it, is just badly done. and his first foray out as batman has a lot of problems with shifting viewpoints. so that you don't really know who's talking. switching from first to third, back and forth.
