Review Detail of UsernamePending in Shades of the New World

Excellent novel. It is, as the author has said, a bit slow paced at the start, yet picks up quite quickly. The characters are each unique and engaging, and the writing is very smooth - I had no difficulties in reading this novel at all. The idea of the MC being a loner and eventually having his ideas about morality skewed was very interesting and also well executed. Unfortunately, I had to dock a point in world background because of the huge information dump at the beginning of the story. Still, a wonderful story overall. Would definitely recommend.
