Let's just say character is definitely not chaotic neutral. He's neutral evil at the very least, maybe lawful evil(so character design is 2*). That being said if you want to read a very disturbing story with an evil mc then this story is for you. Low rating is because the development of the story is all over the place(2*), besides the mc the other characters are 1d at the most. The writing quality is okay but could be a lot better(4* because it's not the worst and it's still readable). World Background goes back to the story being all over the place so it's at 3*s. So overall I'll give the story a 3* rating because I do know the difficulty in writing a story and know the author definitely put hours upon hours of work into this. Do hope author reads the critical reviews and uses them as means of improvement ^.^

He's definitely not chaotic evil but he's on the fine line on being neutral evil, simply because of his actions and his thoughts. And from your earlier comment on selfish evil, there's a fine line on chaotic neutral(only helping your friends/family) and neutral evil(only helping others if it benefits themselves). He passed that line multiple times throughout the story so far, so yeah chaotic evil is a big stretch, neutral evil however is definitely where he belongs. That being said after that situation he did begin fitting the chaotic neutral alignment. However, his actions just from that situation fell under neutral evil. Think the author realized the mistake they made their and tried to fix it.

Lu_Ck:If you call that evil then idk you have pretty high standards leaving somebody because they were a burden is not evil and special forces do this if one of their comrades are down they won't help them until they win

It's not right actually to call him evil you can call him a smart cold guy who put cares more about himself than others yes you can call him selfish evil nahh.
