MC is smart. MC has no qualms of getting his hands dirty. MC is way before cannon as an SI in Marvel. MC has a power with a lot of potential [mind powers]. MC uses SI knowledge for advantage to get money [more moments like this would be nice, including him using modern science knowledge and fictional abilities]. MC plans [like ****,, this MC actually has planned and does **** properly rather than some plot driven SI ****- i like this, more planning and more moments of intelligence] I like smart planning MC, hopefully more of this will be shown. Any relationships just build, dont make lovers useless fk toys. make em loyal and smart and ****. suggestions: -have an ability to steal memories and ' knowledge ' from people? -Sue Storms's abilities - mc has similar power [whilst she was physical weak, her power was OP] -vector manipulation? -Orihimes power from bleach? [ or the power of nonexistence? ] anyway GL....I really just like the smart MC. do continue **: if u do give an extra power....a spoiler would be nice

LIKEI like .....[ I like... my dude...just my thoughts]. The time and concept ie: ' plot ' is rare, And MC in this FF has planned more compared to half the FF out there and isnt a perverted retard. Its a win for me, I'll take what I can get. Plus I think in the later chps its stated MC's power evolves constantly or some ****. so I dosnt matter i guess. Point is I like it, u may not. it depends on the reader. Anyway Bye. peace
Alex1911:I don't think a MC that write down his power in a diary is anywhere close to smart. even though I'm just at the second chapter, I already don't like where this is going.

UnnervedFrog:Whatâs SI, Iâve seen it thrown around a few times but I still donât Know it.

It means when the MC who is from our world is a character in the story, like ex: an SI luffy..this means the MC is luffy. Sometimes SI can be a character inserted into a another character. Like harry potter as voldermort? Get what i mean?

As your senpai in fanfic reading, Imma just clarify what it means. SI means Self-Insert, not self-interest It is originally an unpopular genre due to it meaning inserting yourself as an author into another world so it was seen as creepy and heavily wish-fulfilling. [Unverified] It is said that the SI genre fanfic became popular due to a Naruto fanfic called Dreaming of Sunshine, though I am not very sure due to not reading that particular fanfic due to it having a female MC (Main Character). Nowadays, SI fanfics has become creating an OC (Original Character), most commonly showing their backgrounds in the first chapter and then inserting them through various means into another world, most commonly done by dying (mostly through truck-kun) and meeting God to get some wishes before being inserted. And also, a character from one anime world being inserted into another anime world is not an SI fanfic but a CO (CrossOver) fanfic instead. Example for this is Naruto being transported into High School DxD because of collapse in space-time during their battle with Kaguya etc. etc.

If it's not the author being inserted it's either an oc or a character being inserted into another. It's only a self insert if the author is placing himself into the story. It's in the name 'Self'. If you insert harry potter into voldemort, your not inserting your self into it. Therefore it's an oc(Don't know what it's called when you insert a character into another). Let's say i create a character, gray. If insert gray into someone it's not a self-insert because it's not myself being inserted. Have a great day. đ
