Okay i get it you REALLY like the story from wattpad named the solo gamer but this is like making a Very cheap copy First grimm have no soul ergo Arise does not work cause it only works with non currupted souls Secoud you can atleast do something original i mean come on man give him something else as a semblence

It was never really mentioned that shadow extraction or arise needing souls btw the only people son jung woo failed to extract from are demons which are actually related to another monarch, and we notice in the novel the next is spoilers That he could extract shadows from monarch subjects after he became the shadow monarch Also this is a fanfic it doesnt have to fallow the original way.
I get that but if you make a fanfiction and give your mc Powers from other ChaRcters you have to at least play with said rules of the power and for shadow monarch you need to have a soul that is not corupted
