The Writing Quality is 5 Stars based off the average webnovel, with the Stability of Updates being very good at time of review. Im mentioning this all before because what im going to say is me hating on the story a bit. I dont think the concept was as well executed as it could be, or maybe its just my own interpretation of what I read. The story starts off great, but there seems to be so much filler it dulls the mind, and one of the MC's being this litteral god of weaponry who can create new techniques within a week, makes you want to see the other MC's (Rean's) specialty. And by 64 hes a fuckin blacksmith, now dont get me wrong, I love blacksmithing novels, but to be fair Ive only ever found two. Blacksmithing can be made cool, but it seems that by the time of mid-story, the author just didnt care about making Rean anything special. I mean he has the light element, while Roan has the dark element. There twins, when I read these details I was thinking, " Oh thats so badass, theyre gonna have this connection of hate-portrayal (from what I could see by there personalities twoards another) where they actually enjoy eachothers company, but theyll never say that. Rean will be a master healer who benefits the tribe by supporting and giving ideas, while Roan is this master of combat who knows all weapons " Sure thats a bit dramaticized, but Roan does end up being like that, he is a badass kid who knows how to beat people above his realm of cultivation, he knows every weapon in the universe, he makes techniques when hes bored and cultivates hard. What does rean do? Makes fuckin low-quality steel and sells it off, then the next chapter we see Roan hinting to him to try and learn how to use the light element sense he collects it faster than Roan so he should master something of his own instead of relying on Roan, the **** does he do, he makes a god damn light saber. I dont think Rean is especially stupid, I just believe the author is making him retarded. Sorry for the bad grammar and the swear at the end, but this is just so sad to see such a great concept unexplored.

After scolling though the reviews, it seems I have found one with actual substantial material to comment on. From what I can understand, you have not gone past chapter 70 as of posting the review, so for the meantime, please understand that I will be taking than into account assuming you have already read to chapter 160 or so. First of all, I can certainly see where you are coming from in certain regards. After all, the ‘filler’ you mentioned can get repetitive occasionally, but honestly speaking, that ‘filler’, while being seemingly redundant sometimes actually helps the pacing of the story line. Without it, not only would the characters, interactions and enviroment end up far blander, but it would be come immensely dull to read if there was too much continuous action and plot-relevant endeavours. That’s what I think of them. Additionally, the duo’s somewhat stubborn childish relationship gradually matures over time. At first, they were constantly at eachother’s throats, then they constantly bickered and argued over every little issue and then eventually, the two begin to designate certain responsibilies to the other. They deveolop a trust in each other naturally after so much exposure to one another and start to piece together where their role starts and where the other’s begins. This is done subtly and naturally. It was not explicitly stated and it ends up feeling a lot more sincere and realistic. While they aren’t exactly what you would call ‘intimate’ or even ‘friendly’ (yet), they are likey the only ones they would wholeheartedly trust with their lives. Speaking of roles, the duo have designated all things combat to Roan no questions asked. That includes battle tactics, skills, techniques, training and even alchemy (as you would later find). This is pretty self explanatory, since he was once a guide and collector of souls, with a relatively high position. In terms of Rean, so far, he is in charge of all resource management, equipment, battle support as well as business and negotiation. So far, his influence is substantial, but still slightly lacking. It’s not that the author is making him inherently inferior to Roan, but realistically, what do you think Rean could do in the early stages? What? Do you expect him to make some game-breaking invention made of godly materials? Where would he get the materials? How would he use them? How could he properly protect his income? As of currently, Rean has his roles and is doing well, it’s just that he needs resources and good opportunities to really stand out, seeing as most action scenes will feaure Roan as the comabt specialist. In this novel, the author cannot afford to neglect any one of the two. If they improve the capability of one twin, they must also do the same to the other. If you haven’t noticed, this novel really centers around the concept of balance, so this should be self-explanitory enough. I believe that the author is well aware of this and has likely made plans to balance the perceptions of the twin’s capabilities in this world. I have quite a bit more to say, but this will have to do. I recommend you catch up if you already haven’t. I, for one am interested in their future developments.

Great points, but I still feel like, with the specialties you mentioned, it really leaves the question, what's the point of the two having different elemental affinities then if Rean is doing all this stuff that he could do without the light element. I'm not saying the characters are bad, I'm just saying I feel like the potential and what I personally thought I would see in the story wasn't there. It may sound a bit ape brain, but I just wanted to see Rean use his light element more since I'm very interested in the idea that is Healer MC's, and Twin MC's is also very interesting, but he just never really used it, and by the time the MC is starting to use it for the ability of enhancement of the body, or even some healing here and there, Roan has already started enhancing himself by using the light elements as well, it just feels like Rean is there to be a battery-pack of light element.

That’s understandable. It does often seem that Rean’s elemental affinity is overshadowed somewhat, but the reason for that seems somewhat complex. First of all, as I mentioned previously, Rean doesn’t exactly have many ‘shining’ moments. While his actions are significant and rake in a signifcant amount of Destiny Points, to many readers and even other characters, Rean’s actions pale in comparison to Roan’s. That’s to be expected through. His role is purely support in essentialy every degree, and whether we like it or not, support roles aren’t exactly ‘attention grabbbing’. That aside, the light element is essentially symbolic of life and heat, whilst the dark element is of death and coldness. Naturally, it would take a significantly less amount of energy to kill/harm using the dark element rather than using the light element. After all, combat ability is essential, so combined with Roan’s past as Death, it would only make sense for Rean to be somewhat overshadowed. That said, there is a high likelyhood that Rean could end up making sentient, intelligent equipment in the future. The possibility is there. There is also the chance he could materialise energy beams, but those take an immense amount of energy, so that would likely be reserved for the distant future. Besides, Rean hasn’t even scratched the surface of his blacksmithing (metallurgy) skills. He will gradually use more modern-day techniques, and intergrate them with this world slowly, earning hundreds of Destiny Points along the way. There is also the chance that he could deflop his own versions of Roan’s techniques, using his own element. As you said, there are many possibilities, but we have yet to see them. Still, hope is not lost yet. After all, they are 9 years old right now. It might be little too early in the story line.
