This Naruto has gone down the destroyer path, can't see him do anything without benefiting himself. He is also not very smart, for example he could of used outsiders to sacrifice but now the village is aware two of its members are missing. His arrogance will be his downfall plus he is turning into a really unlikable character. You can have a ruthless manipulating MC but you don't out yourself as a manipulator by cutting out people who are smart enough to realise you used them. You need to make a choice and stick with it because you are not doing the manipulating MC justice. You lack the subtle nature such a MC needs. You also forget that other ninja of the Leaf will notice your actions as you lack a lifetime of painful experiences. Don't confuse skill with experience. I also doubt the nine tails would go out of it's way to assist him, it can feel emotions meaning bull****ting it won't work.

You're right. Danzo leaked the missions of many great ninja's of Konoha, whom were either killed or commit suicide. He also has had his secret squad assassinate shinobi of Konoha, yet still not gotten caught. Hiruzen didn't find out many of the crimes Danzo committed over the years, so following this logic the mc should be fine. The decision is up to the author to make.
Danzo and the MC are two different individuals with different standing within the village and resources and allies to call on. If you are comparing the MC to Danzo Shimura all I can do is shake my head.

Btw this is me commenting before even reading the fan-fiction. Indeed they are people of different standing. But the author can pull out anything from their ass, reading Chinese anime fanfics takes it toll.

10102020oo:Just finished reading the latest chapter, the personality of the mc shifted 180 degrees... All of your points are correct, but seeing this author the mc might not suffer. So his arrogance might not be his downfall, author will just have every enemy get their asses kicked.
You can't compare if it's based on connection and resources however, konoha is not the same as when Hashirama and tobirama were hokages... where it was full of experts... so knowing how to avoid a d A simple transformation jutsu can do a good job of espionage, assassination, etc... And let's not forget that naruto has shadow clones.. is there a better manpower ?? even if it doesn't reach the feet of damzo, it's still possible to be efficient with discretion and manipulation
