Supporting authors is well and good, but the amount you're talking about is ridiculous and just portrays your lack of money management and persona of an impulsive spendthrift. Spending hundreds of dollars on games is also the same sort of stupidity. Traveling is different. It has a more profound meaning in life and could be a life dream for many. Ultimately, you do whatever you want with your own money but think of what you can do better instead. Just give it a thought. Your money can actually save lives worth saving.
