Yes, I don't like this kind of mc at all.

He was living his life, practically, without fear, until the event occurs that changes his entire reality and makes him forced to get stronger and focus on his empowerment, instead of being silly intrigue with others. , or being a "villain". It's all part of character development.

After reading lots of reviews, im really baffled and shocked at how many ppl have a missguided understanding of sin and sinners. Sin has nothing to do with good or evil, kindness or cruelty, villains or heroes. Sin is an act considered to be a transgression against divine law and laws are just a form of control, be they natural laws, divine laws or human society's laws - they areny good or bad they are just a form of control. And persone who goes against divine laws is a sinner, persone who goes against societys laws is a criminal, no good or bad involved at any level. It has nothing to do with anything els. And its a huge surprise that ppl dont know or understand that.

Sin has a lot to do with good and evil, it is nearly synonymous with acts of injustice or cruelty for most people. After all, morality is subjective, which is why we have ethics, a discussion between two competing concepts of the good. Society as a whole decides what is evil and creates laws surrounding it. Religious groups follow what their sacred texts deem as good or bad.

Okay in the context of this discusion - ppl see SIN in the name of the novel and have their preconceived notion of what that is or could be. And just because it doesnt add up with what ever they believe in, they shouldnt say things like what the original author of the review said. Thats what i mean. (But sin in it self has nothing to do with good or bad its just a breaking of laws, good or bad depends on more in depth - on what laws wore broken and what acts wore commited, but breaking laws or doing immoral things isnt good or bad by it self.) And understanding that ur beliefs arent end all be all is important.

bro i cant believe you dropped this just cuz you wanted an edgelord mc 😭😭. Its not even like he is one of those overly righteous mc's either, he's ruthless af but at the same time he has his morals. still i do get that there is an weird switch in character after a few hundred chapters but thats just the author trying to give him more character development, at first hes just a weak sect disciple so he has no right to be be thinking abt right or wrong when he has to grow stronger and seize opportunities, he literally grapes a girl in the first chapter for her physique ffs. His metal age is so much more than his actual age to , you seemed to have forgotten that he was literally in a state of nearly dead for a whole millennium when he became the inheritor of sin at the start. you should really be giving this another chance man.

The MC literally rapes someone in the first few chapters and is known fir slaughtering people. The 180 shift to a middle of the road basic morality type is just bad writing with no reasonavle explanation.
