Why do people want to have romance in every novel they read. It's incredibly hard to find a good novel with no romance. I just find romance ruins the integrity of a story. It's just not my cup of tea

Honestly couldn’t agree with u more. They can only say no romance cause they’ve never read long novels with no romance. Reading novels with 1000+ chapters with no romance is tough. It either has to be really enjoyable or have something that makes u want to keep reading. The romance when done right adds something to look forward to plus seeing mcs so one track in becoming strong or wtv becomes boring fast. Romance and harems when done right add to the story. It’s just that idots would always think of the worst when they thing of those 2 genres
