As of chapter 30, I'm gonna say that this novel is incredibly frustrating. As far as the plot goes, the synopsis claims that the MC has returned to the past multiple times in order to save humanity, but the author also (in the very first chapter) made the MC choose a mystery option that the entire plot is supposedly based around. And yet, the author has no plans on revealing what it could possibly be. The author then proceeds to shove this 'ooooh cool and mysterious' vibe down your throat. As far as characters go, this is probably my least favorite aspect. One would normally expect that a 'second chance' novel would feature a MC who knows what it's like to be the very last surviving human. But it feels like nothing close to that. MC acts immature, naive, and downright idiotic at times. Because the author didn't reveal what the MC chose as his option, nobody can fully speculate why he acts this way, so the author deserves the flaming he is getting for that. It feels more like the main character is his actual 19 year old self, but received a few snippets of memory from the future. That's it. To sum it all up, the author is trying WAY too hard to implement too many things into this novel, and instead of fitting together like a puzzle, the elements are just tumbling around together without any cohesiveness. I don't think I'm going to continue this novel

Haha, yup, that was the plot twist of this tale, lol, but sadly, it didn't seem to appreciate by quite a lot of readers haha, in the end, I dropped this story, of course, I have written it on my Patreon and Amazon.

sparejunk:Rather worrisome you smiled after this "that the entire novel up to this point is his memories of the 2nd round"

I didn't put this in initially, but I did give it 3 stars because there are certain parts of the novel that are still interesting, and I would love to read about if the story was properly polished. With few grammatical errors, it is also very easy to read and keep up with as well

And another person who didn't quite get the story, I didn't directly 'state' that this was in any way the MC's 'fourth' choice, you didn't get what really happened in the prologue it seems especially the tease at the very end. The MC acts as he does for a reason, nothing happens without there being a reason, and that is something that will only be explained as the series progresses, why his memories aren't clear are for two reasons, one which is pretty much self-explanatory in the chapter as there was a clear statement of the MC saying that he did pay attention to anything in X life, and he is a human, not a machine with the memory of cultivation and some of those unbelievable characters you see in reincarnation novels that can remember when he was born, what he said at X time during a particular year, and what he ate for breakfast during that year. You are obviously not a fan of mystery, you seem to be the type who likes simple novels with easy to understand plots and story that you can see coming based on a plot that is overused. I am going say this here, this story is a bit complex, and it is heavily mystery based, and character-focused and driven. The MC acts like a mature human being, known of his actions show any sign of immature found in teenagers, if you read this novel and only see mature then you might not know what maturity means for a character, this could be because you've read too many other types of novels that try to trick you on what mature means wth constant face slapping. Author deservings flaming? Where am I getting flaming for what? Like I said before the MC is acting as he should for a reason, and I don't like to spoon-feed my readers with spoilers of everything, the Keener readers can take time to digest the story and pick up certain clues. Yes, the story is a puzzle, and it will only be unveiled at the very end and key moments, people who can pick things up faster will naturally piece things together more easily. And yeah that's about it, have a nice day.

I hope this doesn't mean that the entire novel up to this point is his memories of the 2nd round, if so I am actually gonna be a bit disappointed. (well not really depends how you do it this was just outside of my expectations)
