Yet another cliche novel. I seriously don't know why people give this 5 stars. Originality 0 points, few plot loopholes in first few chapters with chaotic style of writing. It feels like someone who read x amounts of novels on same theme, put his thoughts in first few chapters and then started working from there. Usually i read at least 40-60 chapters to give story a chance, but i couldn't get past 13.

This is webnovel, look at all the trash novels that have >95% 5 star reviews: Monster Paradise, Super Gene, and there was that one novel that stayed rank #1 for months when it had many plot-holes by chapter 15. Try Reverend Insanity, a truly amazing cultivation novel without the cliches. Thanks for the review, I won't be reading this one. If you want a decent-good reincarnation/know-it-all novel, then try Kill the Hero and Second Life Ranker, I start reading those recently. Different sites and not completely translated though.

I don't read the harem genre. I recommend Reverend Insanity; I highly suspect you'll have a new best Chinese novel.

There are still some good ones, that like as much as I like Reverend Insanity. Release that witch is a really good one, the author clearly knows what he's doing. Lord of the Mysteries is also phenomenal, with some of the best world building that I've read. Chrysalis is also worth a read. It's a little bit slow, but I think that suits the novel fine. The king's avatar is also quite good. Supreme magus has deteriorated a bit into a harem lately, but is also quite good. I think I read all of The New World in a week. Reverend Insanity is one of the best things that I've read, but there's still some high quality novels. I must admit that I can't get past the Northern plains arch of Reverend Insanity. I might sit down and read through it later.

Finally someone with some brains i agree with u about lord of the mysteries that's real good that's a close second to my top favs but supreme magus is trash I had to stop reading after a while it had a good premise to it at the start but then it became clique and the mc is just like all the other trash mc not to mention the enemies typical "how dare you" arrogant stupid retarded enemies i.e young masters and release the witch I've never read but I heard it's just the same and the other novels u said I haven't heard about so I'll give them a look

Release that witch isn't the same as Supreme magus. The mc has zero magical capabilities. He uses his knowledge of history and engineering to turn a small mining town into a mighty empire. There's a bit of plotarmor and plotholes, but it's one of the best kingdom building novels on this site. Yeah it has kinda a young master trope a few times, but it has a pretty great story, with quite good characters, and pretty accurate information in both chemistry, engineering and politics. It's the only harem ish novel I actually kinda enjoyed reading, due to the mc actually choosing a wife early. And there actually being believable relationships between other characters. Kinda agree with what you say about Supreme magus. There are many great chapters between 200 - 320, until the author kills of the best character in the series for no reason. The novel kinda goes downhill all the time, but with some good moments. Are there any novels you would recommend with the same feel as Reverend Insanity?

Like I said before haven't read release the witch only heard bout it with different reviews so I'll give u the benefit of the doubt with that glad u agree with me on supreme magus it had a few good moments I'll agree but otherwise nope its trash how these stories be getting top rank I have no idea and the only other story I could say similar to reverend insanity is warlock of the magus in terms of ruthlessness willing to do whatever it take to achieve their goal but it has it's fair share of minor tropes that I dont like but the mc makes it worth it. Other than that I have nothing else I'm tired of stupid damsels in detress, dumb mc's who willing to do anything for a girl they dont even kno(simp kings), the reincarnated 10000 yrs old demon or hero that act like 15 yr olds in heat, the stupid tournament arcs, the supposedly smart mc but is actually retarted, I have read light novels, mangas, animes u name it I've seen it all the tropes and I'm tired of them no story compares to lord of the mysteries and reverend insanity in my opinion

There's a novel that's a lot worse than Supreme magus that has consistently gotten in top three the last months. Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God. It has tropes, potholes and plotarmor to a degree that's literally unbelievably high for a novel in top 10.

Though I will agree with you about the harem, since those are terrible, I disagree about the rest. The smart MC is just everyone around him being complete idiotic. Everyone praised his plan to funnel the monster wave into one area, as if it was new and innovative, when using choke points is an ancient tactic. How about when he gets captured and is given, quite literally, every resource needed to efficiently get stronger, but instead decides that he didn't leave his sister enough money, so he must immediately escape to get back to her. When the group that captured him is obviously extremely powerful and has a lot of information. Then there is the amount of absurd plot armor. He meets a mountain rabbit, then has the blood to wake the girl, who then saves his dumb *** soon after while giving him a choice use a super powerful crystal to save his future girlfriend/potential harem member, but then says JK, I'll do it with this other crystal that I am coincidentally holding that fits the very specific criteria. How about him getting the MasterBall/MasterCard to catch the super monster, right when needed. Or the super disguise card to escape the evil group. Oh and one more thing, wtf was with his broken wheel plot? It is literally in the synopsis and yet was immediately fixed with no issue. Why even include it?

I also enjoyed it up till I did not. I could ignore the issues for only so long, and the point was when he received the master disguise card that could deceive those far higher than himself: which would allow him to complete his idiotic plan.
