No I was saying that there was a direct explanation for why it had happened like that but it seemed like you haddnt reached that point. But I dropped it too eventually when the author started reusing the exact same story arc repeatedly.

800+ chapter in and i would say he is not wrong. a lot of 1 dimensional villain/side character that only exist to make mc look good + mc that never suffer a setback while being super greedy and shameless.

also it MC not VILLAIN. well tbf with how he act it almost hard to distinguish the difference. saying stuff like "every other novel is also bad so why hate this one" is terrible argument.it like saying "this book is trash but it has some cool stuff!"

Also I read this genre for the cool world building and interesting fantasy stuff rather than good characters. Cuz even the best characters in this genre are pretty bland
