U know if gifting coins is still a thing because they gave us some coins as an apology but took away the buttons i knew about and now they are saying they expiring which is absolute sheet if the only way u can get them is apologies and buying them scummy thing

You can use them to unlock chapters or gave gifts to authors, which will then turn into real money for the authors, but your work has to be contracted. Fanfictions cannot have locked chapters because of the copyright issues, but you can still get gifts. If your work gets popular they will send you a email about the contract. But you earn little to nothing with it. Also, Despite being fanfiction, you posted this novel on original section, not that it matters, but there is risk of deletion or maybe they will move this into the fanfiction section. I think it would be the best if you create a new novel on fanfiction section and copy all the chapters from here to there and then you could also release a chapter here to notify the people about it.

The gift button still exist, but like I said above, the work has to be contracted.

Just noticed that you cant gave gifts if the work is a fanfiction. They really removed it but you can still gave gifts if its a original novel^^

They seriously do need to make it so I can swap it over to the fan fiction section using the tools as that’s the only part I can’t change which is annoying
