This novel is too overrated. There are so many errors. The logic in the novel is nonexistent. Don't get me started on the mc. Why does most author make their main character mentally challenged. What is the point in having a character so stupid that it can make luffy(one piece) look smart.

I’m at chapter 240ish and it’s the point he hates his parents, does he ever actually meets them and drop the childish act? Because from what I’m seeing is this act is really hurting his mom

It does get better, he eventually gets in a situation where he can't avoid his family anymore and is forced to reconnect. After that he starts caring more for his family.
