For one, I like this novel. Compared with the others, truly awful novels, this one is good. Some people complain about racism, but I just remember some of jabs, nothing mayor like OTHER NOVELS. Also, even if the MC's soul is chinese, he'll only cooks(a lot) and talks in chinese a couple of times. There's no ultranationalism or something like that. It's a little slow-paced, but not boring. The only thing I don't like about the MC his lack of knowledge about movies others than the DCU. He seems to know about de DCU, but nothing about Die Hard? The mist... well ok, but Die Hard? Srsly? And yes, his world is an amalgamation of movies, including Deadpool (pre mutation right now), x-men (mentioned only and some mutants), Wanted, R.I.P.D etc. His system is xp based, and he can learn(some more fantastical like the inmortality of Jason, he can't) skills of the guys he kills or defeat (including games like blackjack or poker), so, it's mildy interesting. Overall, it's a good novel if you need something to read.

I did find it odd how he dose not know some of the movies, but I chalked it up to the fact that the author wanted to not make the MC go around and say "Ha I know what will happen and I just need to do this" or stuff like that.
