The story started off awesome the FL was strong take no **** from nobody hard working without too many cheats the ML was meh their relationship was meh up to the end of the book I still felt like he forced her. The older sister’s redemption was **** and I have to say that the why the author wrote the FL stepmom made me mad she was a nice lady and they treated her like crap which made her character completely unrecognizable by the end of the story and that was my biggest pet peeve. Lots of unnecessary stuff happened I ended up disliking the ML around half way through the story became stiff and boring 🤦🏽♀️

Agree, I feel like Chang Jie was treated unfairly. Momo was horrible to her and frankly, as a pregnant woman who would be comfortable with an attempted murderer coming to live in your home? She wouldn't even let her own brother off! It's a bit strange that this was overlooked. So yeah, I really feel that Momo shouldn't have been allowed to live at home with them especially once she started interferring in her fathers marriage. I blame her for the breakdown (and to some degree the in-laws). Quian An and Chang Jie deserved a HEA.
