sorry just read this, lol can't believe they censor that, but in the story its because spoiler, his powers are not linked to his body or anything like that but he unlocks his abilities and such through a system by completing tasks and eating other beasts crystals to power his body. When he finds out how to complete these tasks he unlocks more abilities magic etc.. along the way

pity that you din't give even a hint in prologue. though what you said is seemed spoiler. its an important information to be said in prologue instead of later in story. Prologue should have 20% spoiler in a book. Now that you say it, its an interesting ability to be able to get powerful by eating crystals. But the quest completing thing is not Realistic. System Can be realistic if the "quest " function is removed. Killing animals to become stronger can be realistic too. However there should be like- after killing others part of their soul would be devoured and be converted into energy and make MC stronger. Something like that.

It would be more fun if instead of just becoming stronger MC can gain the ability of other best by eating their crystals.
