This story starts out kinda slow, Finally, it gets going in a traditional sort of Zombie apocalypse with a system kinda way. The thing is, the Protagonist is too big a scumbag. Personally, I would rather die than be forced to be someone's lackey. Correspondingly, I would never force someone else to be my slave or even follower.
