Started reading this. I’d you’re used to faster paced novels, read up to when he gets the bracelet and then skip to chapter 27 when he’s fighting a rat beast thing. The entire content in between is completely boring. He trains at a gym a little bit and improves his diet. He also learns the world is shrinking for some reason. That genuinely all you need to know. The author might disagree that the content is important world building or something but Jesus Christ totally boring as sin. Literally fell asleep reading at chapter 17 and barely remembered to attempt to pick it up again to see if it would get better. I’m at chapter 28 now and crossing my fingers that this gets to be more entertaining and action packed for a supposed apocalyptic novel with sci-fi and other world tech like it should have. I’ll make a comment to let you know if I drop it or not.

Honestly, The story has MASSIVELY improved after chapter 28. I think you can completely skip all of the chapters in between the bracelet attaching itself and that point when he kills his first digester. You literally miss out on nothing. I read every chapter so far, so fk off. I can’t give advice or people who might read this and not want to deal with totally slow bs? Sure, they don’t have to listen to my advice just like you don’t you little piss baby. Sorry for living in a free country and being able to express my opinion and my own view ON MY OWN DANG REVIEW. ISNT THAT WHAT REVIEWS ARE FOR??? To literally express an opinion on something? Why don’t you just bow down to your dear leader since you obviously live somewhere in a country where you can’t freely express your own opinions. I bet you live in China or North Korea or Russia and have to jerk off to your leader 5 times a day to improve your social credit score. Get the f outta here and let people express their own dang opinions on their own reviews. I’ve read up to chapter 80 so far and this story is massively improving. That first bit was absolute trash and should be completely deleted in my own opinion. Absolutely worththless content that I’m glad I didn’t have to pay coins for as I would’ve dropped this novel faster than you could say “freedom”. Which you clearly don’t have in your country since you can’t let other people express their own opinions. Get the fk outta here you piss baby.
Lourca_Bachevalier:Man, Its the first time I see a reader complaining because the book is not mindless action. If you don't like world building and just want action skip to the chapter "The Red Cube" or something like that. There the action starts.
Thanks for your review. I have no issue with it. I get the first chapters were not to your taste. But saying the first 28 chapters are totally trash is about as disrespectful as you can be considering so many others liked them. Slow start are not popular here, but in my opinion it is clearly not useless. Worldbuilding, character growths, introduction of key characters, none of these are useless. Once again, it is your right to think this.

Yea bro I mean the story just took like a massive leap forward in quality at that point and actually became exciting. Sorry that my opinion isn’t what you want to hear but yeah I’m the typical reader for most novels on this site/app and of course I like those faster paced novels. I mean, I literally wouldn’t have read hundreds of them at this point if I didn’t. I also think you have to understand that the general audience that is making so many books too 10 are exactly like me. Sure there may be a minority that like slow paced novels, but taking one look at the top ten novels of the male category show you what the majority think as they vote in the hundreds of thousands of power stones daily. As an original author you clearly have the ability to write whatever you want but you also should understand the audience that exists on the platform you’re composing your story on. Sure, you may like slow novels and enjoy writing them and that’s 100% fine and well within your right. Just know that it’ll be hard to break past the barrier to become like an original like Supreme Magus or Demonic Swordsmen that receive so much support when you have a story that started off so incredibly slowly. I have been enjoying your novel and I think it would do well to other readers like me to come across my review to know that they can skip those chapters to reach a more normal pace once you obviously improved your writing. Isn’t it better for a reader to see what I wrote and become like me where they then are in the 114+ range and appreciating the growth you had as a writer compared to those first chapters? I think it’s for your benefit that I wrote something saying that people can move along to get to what I’d consider the actual start of the novel and not the prologue. I’m just the typical reader on this site as my rank 7 can show as I’ve been here a long time. If it helps others read your book that is honestly pretty great now then it’s for your benefit. Sorry for the harsh criticism but I truly feel that way about that first gap of chapters. Maybe others will read what I wrote and give it a chance.

In general while throwing the main character at the deep end is a tactic that is used quite often in these kinds of stories actually showing our main character preparing so that we don't ask later how does he know how to do all this **** is is rarer. Plus we get to explore the personality of the Mc in a relatively low stress environment and then see how the events in the story change the protagonist.
