You should check out that old national geographic show about preppers. It's quite fun. I like to read forums online of these guys. Some guys tend to be horribly naive with what they post on the Internet sometimes in their dick measuring contests, making for fun read throughs.

Judging by the picture you have I doubt you can even get a licence yet without parental supervision. If you're in the states tough there might be some places that will allow you to join a gun club if you want to shoot. Itl be under supervision of an ***** tough and once more with parental permission. You don't need to own a gun to get to shoot one then :) Depending on your needs there is always a rifle or pistol best suited for a specific job and environment. Battlefield 4 has an Israeli bullpop rifle named the Tavor in it. In game it's pretty good in game, but irl it's the rifle I'd want in a zombie apocalypse in urban environments. You'll understand if you research it as well as how to select the right rifle for the right environment.
