Little background, this would has a cultivation system of sorts and people kill monsters to loot Crystal's that give stat boosts, qi and skills. Ok the mc funds an old cell phone that has a game that when he plays it it's like el, where when he kills a monster in game and lots a crystal the power comes through the phone and upgrades his body. The start the mc is considered a genius until a new person transfers in and kicks his butt then after the student transfers out, long story short his dad remarries and the new step kids do whatever they can to jack with the mc from kicking his butt to trying to make him not able to get in college. The mc has never met these 2 kids they just do it to be asses. The story seems ok it's nothing too exciting. So for short mc plays a video game to get stronger, dads new kids do everything they can to haze the mc and wreck his life for no reason.

Well, actually it's not rally necessary it's just that it gives a better idea of what is going on than the synopsis and it killed abit of my hype for this novel but once more it's not a bad thing 'cause now I know what to expect from this novel

There is more I can include if you like. I just brushed over the starting overlay, it gets more in depth later, you get what a twist moments a few times and the mc and new family do stupid stuff, if you hate hi why help him.....

Dad is just a stand in figure for the author. He seems clueless of everything literally. The mc never brings up the step kids to his dad which if it was me I would have told the whole group to get fkd. The mc does not act like a regular person at all nor the dad, like I said he only shows up from time to time, plot device maybe. So they can rank up to mythic but only the 6 main families can do this and they do it by combining with a mythic pet. The mc's new stepmother is from one of those families and one of her children is supposed to inherit the mythical standing but for some reason she finds out about the mc and wants to give the mythical standing to him instead of her kids so she marries the dad then forces the daughter to give up the right for the mythic spot. The mc doesn't know any of this and the sister attacks him to prove she is better which she was legendary status and he was regular so ya he gets an ass whoopin. Then the mc later wants to enter college and has to join a team to try and qualify, the new stepbrother intimidates the teammates to drop him and the last minute he gets a new team and gets qualified to go to college.
