Jedrek story doesn't make any sense to me. I hope author can answer my few questions- 1) It was said that in one of the chapter that it almost impossible for a lycan to her his mate but Jedrek hurt Lilac both physically and mentally 2) The mate bond work only on Jedrek side but Lilac falls in love with him too quickly without him making any effort. 3) Lilac accepted Jedrek's proposal for the mating ceremony when she was well aware that he still loves the witch. I still never get the answer of this question till date which woman in her right mind will marry a man who was in love with another woman. 4)The story was about a Lycan King love for his first love and his soulmate but I never read any love between the king and lilac except at the day of the ceremony. This is the first story where I don't want the ML and FL together. He doesn't deserve her. He is a cheater.

Great summary. đ The ending would make more sense if Serafina was selfish until the end and chose to return. She and Jedrek could stay together and that would help Lilac to break free from her toxic love for Jedrek. I wished that Jedrek found Lilac after the war happy with another man; With a man who would know how to love Lilac and not hurt her. I am very disappointed that Jedrek and Lilac ended up together. I can forgive Jedrek many things, but it's unforgivable how he hurt Lilac AFTER they mated. He is just a plain cheater who repeatedly hurt a woman who gave him nothing but forgiveness. As her mate, Jedrek was supposed to feel her pain, heartbreak, betrayal... but he didn't. It was like Lilac was trapped in a mate bond, while Jedrek didn't feel it at all. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
She couldn't do that however because of the promise she made to the moon goddess but it would make more snese

Well you yourself said almost impossible but cuz he had sarefina in the past and he loved her for centuries comparing to him just meeting liac and their luv hadn't grown yet. that impossible became possible. slowly when he found out he like lilac he tried his best to not hurt her anymore and he regretted it badly. I think after finding out his feelings for her the only time he hurt her was the words he said to her sarefina during her deaths For the mating ceremony he did it to get over sarefina while lilac accepted it only cuz she think this as her duty. The mate bond works on both side its just that humans don't feel the mate bond which to them it becomes actual feelings what story could there be with lilac and jedreak while at that time the most important thing was to go against the war
