Currently I have only read up to the current chapter (17) and so far its probably one of the better Harry Potter fan-fics I have read. The first chapter kind of made me not want to read it but after that it got better though the author could have explained more in chapter 1 & 2. The background of the world doesn't need much explaining since if your reading this you have already read or at least read the original Harry Potter series. The character design is pretty good for where the chapters currently are. The new Harry is almost as lost as the original when it comes to the Wizarding World but he also knows a lot of spells which he can cast wandless and chantless. That doesn't make him op right away though because he's still young and has more to learn. There are some good twist like when Salazar basically made him his son before he left and others. Overall I'm looking forward to the rest of this fan-fic and hope the Author can find it in himself to keep posting and frequently.

Thanks for the review. If I am being honest to you and myself, the story I’m writing feels like a pale imitation of the better stories out there, specifically on fanfic. A lot of this story is based on different Harry Potter fanfics I have read, I chopped them up and stitched them together into this story. This is really my first shot at any type of story that wasn’t for a homework assignment. Often times as I sit at my desk and open Word, I think back to the stories I read and wonder why someone would read my story compared to others. It truly is an honor for people to spend their valuable time reading what I wrote. I hope that as I continue this story, my ability to create a story improves and one day I can sit among the others that truly deserve their place.

Don't know why my comment multiplied itself but I just want to add that you don't need to lower yourself that much, I always think of taking a fanfiction story and rewriting it better but I end up dropping the thought instantly, so you at least havr the courage to write something!
