And enjoy the ride. As the others have said, it's an interesting and enjoyable story. The premise remind me of "The Empress' Livestream Room", but it's NOT A TRANSMIGRATOR's story. It's more focused on romance (harlequin style, but with long description of protagonists' beauty) and family/friendships drama; and a more shallow political/governance/war story. Ji Yuxian is the ML, so there's no scenario of FL became the Empress. There are some cannon fodders and unrepentant enemies, but there're not many of them. The brightest side of the story are the comedies, the "brotherhood" of the 5 main characters, and conclusive story for most of the characters (including for "Miss Su" and Sulin-shi). Each of the chapters are long chapter and it's consistent till the last chapter. The first 250 chapters cover the stories about how Su Jiu and her 4 "brothers" pass the tribulations of their past experiences; make their legends; and rise in power. The next 20+ chapters cover the closure for Xiao Lie and Wu Li (an interesting narcissistic doctor), each with their own wife. The last 20+ chapters tell the story of Chang Huan and the children of Su Jiu et al.
